DONT STOP THE MUSIC Posted By : Lily Steiner
Its been a rough few years for the music business. The rise of illegal file-sharing networks like Napster and Kazaa and legitimate music download services like iTunes and the new Napster has all but utterly flattened the old business model. Label and brand loyalty seems to be going the way of the dodo. If music fans can download their tunes a song at a time to their mobile phones, without even bothering to listen to a whole album, why should they bother with the concerted efforts of an entire label?

Squeeze Biography And Top 10 Songs Posted By : Andy Jackson – Wisdom_Mcr
I started listening to Squeeze when I was about 7 or 8 because I remember buying Take Me I'm Yours at a flea market (I used to go to look for old original records) for about 25p on cassette single, and I remember buying it just because I liked the cover art. At another flea market pretty soon after I got the Squeeze album for about 75p and ever since then have loved their music.

Solution to Exhaustion Posted By : Mary Anne Fresco.
Music keeps us alive. Whenever we are at work, in school, or even at home music makes our body in motion, so can you imagine if an event, like parties and weddings, have no music at all? You may leave the venue or not attend the venue at all. But with the presence of disc jockey services, the word boring is just a myth.

Introducing the Blue Comet Cafe Posted By : Matthew McKernan
Everyone wishes they had seen Bruce Springsteen at The Main Point in Philadelphia or Elton John at the Troubadour in Los Angeles or Norah Jones at The Bitter End in New York City when they were just starting out. The fact is you have to be at the right place at the right time and if you live in a smaller market, you're probably out of luck. That's no longer true thanks to Blue Comet Cafe.

Kids learn music the way they learn words (New Orleans Times-Picayune)
Want your children to play an instrument some day? Or at least appreciate music? Start singing to them and dancing with them. Let them bang on pots and pans or play with instruments such as egg shakers or cymbals. Show them how hitting a drum hard makes a different sound than with a soft touch.

On the verge: James Otto is into his music heart and country soul (USA Today)
James Otto's top five country hit, Just Got Started Lovin' You, has a slow, slinky groove and a bedroom growl of a vocal that harks back to R&B-influenced records of Ronnie Milsap and Conway Twitty. The 34-year-old singer/songwriter considers himself a proponent of what he calls country soul. "I'd love to be country music's Al Green," he says.
